About Us
South HB Jiu Jitsu was built for this community by someone who loves it. Founded by Gabe Mauser, SHBJJ was built on a passion for the sport and a commitment to the people of Huntington Beach. Located at Magnolia and Adams, we offer a convenient and family-friendly atmosphere where everyone from first-timers to seasoned grapplers can train with confidence.
SHBJJ is a proud affiliate of Professor Magno Almeida. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Professor Magno began his journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 13 and has since dedicated his life to martial arts.A seasoned professional fighter with many years of experience, he has competed at the highest levels and continues to share his knowledge with his students.
